We often hear, "I did not know my machine could do that!" Get excited and learn the features of your sewing/embroidery machine!
This 3-hour class is designed to introduce new machine owners (mechanical and computerized) to the basic features of the machine:
- needle basics;
- tension, troubleshooting techniques;
- stitch manipulation: length, width, needle position;
- machine maintenance and cleaning.
Classes are free with the PURCHASE of a machine from Alamo Stitchin Post. If you bought your machine somewhere else, there is a fee of $45 per class for any other machine/serger.
Classes are held quarterly on Saturday morning from 10 am to 1 pm.
Bring your new machine to class and fabrics you plan to sew on, so that you can practice in class and get recommendations on correct tension, needle type, and stitch length.
